Ordered and the package was delivered quickly from Spain to the USA. This was an easy add on. Install the connector software and it’s plug and play. I fly a G1000 equipped Caravan for a living and the quality of the material is as good or better than the Garmin unit in the aircraft. The backlighting can be dimmed either automatically with a sensor or a manual slide. Only minor “issue” I’m having is that the mode lights are very bright and give off a glare. Can’t be dimmed. During the day not an issue but a night their glare is distracting. I solved it by putting a tiny piece of iced cellophane tape over them. Takes the glare off and it hardly noticeable. Very good piece of equipment. If my Emuteq G1000 ever gets replaced it’ll be with Aviatek units.

I wanted a G1000 that is fully backlit (I have my flight sim setup in a pretty dark room), as realistic as possible and easy to configure. That's why I chose Aviatek G1000. Waiting time was little bit longer than I thought but in the end it's not an off-the-shelf product.

I’m a pilot and It’s very important to me to keep current. I own the GMU 710 and GCU 475. Both of them they are very good quality. I can tell you, you don’t feel any difference. Those are like a real Garmin products.
